  1. Woo! We seem to have read the same “How to Survive Winter” book! 😉

The vintage pattern part reminds me: I just ordered a vintage crewel kit off of Ebay. It’s this totally awesome image that my grandmother used to have framed on her wall, called “In Disgrace” (by Bessie Pease Gutmann). I’ve never done needlework before, so hopefully this will be a great way to learn (not to mention keep the winter blues at bay!).

By the way, I would love to send you a letter! Wanna be penpals?

      • that sounds like a good idea.
i know sarah hosts open studio wednesday nights @ the
calving gallery, but i go to the gallery thursday nights and
would really prefer to craft in someone’s home. and your
home is especially homey (and close by too!) so it needs
to be at your house. :]

  4. Wonderful! I love it! What a great reminder of good things.
