We are social creatures, we need people in our life! How do you make friends//be a part of community if you don’t go to
school, college, church, or normal job?
The bad news, it requires a lot more effort, the good news is the friendships formed from common interests and mutual respect are deeper and healthier!

Maybe you can pinpoint the exact people group you’d like to be a part of, or maybe you feel there is NO ONE who shares your obscure interests…
If you’ve got your sights set on an inner circle — go to their events, talk to them — after all there’s a reason you are drawn to them~ you see something of yourself in them — or at least something you’d like to become.

If you feel like you have nothing in common with the people in your area, show them why they should care — share the things you’re excited about! Invite people to join you while you practice your contact improv, paper cutting, comics etc.
After all, you just might have to start a scene of your own!
Remember that you’re not alone, EVERYONE needs a friend — so never feel like you have nothing to offer.
Fear makes strangers of people who would be friends.
