One of the things I find most inspiring, is the beauty that comes with years and years of use and love, the way a beloved sweater gets mended again and again or how a dinner table becomes worn down by all the meals it has held.

This may be why creative people are so drawn to vintage, antique, and old things, they hold a powerful energy that only becomes magnified over time.
I choose to make art//craft with recycled materials, I could say it’s because they are generally cheaper or that it’s better for the environment – and that is part of the reason — but mostly I use them because they inspire me.
