One of the things I find most inspiring, is the beauty that comes with years and years of use and love, the way a beloved sweater gets mended again and again or how a dinner table  becomes worn down by all the meals it has held.

Things seem to take on the energy of their owners, and if the things you surround yourself with reflect you & your life doesn’t that make you a more potent person?

This may be why creative people are so drawn to vintage, antique, and old things, they hold a powerful energy that only becomes magnified over time.

I choose to make art//craft with recycled materials, I could say it’s because they are generally cheaper or that it’s better for the environment – and that is part of the reason — but mostly I use them because they inspire me.
