Making Stuff With Kids

I am constantly inspired by my little sisters’ creativity. There is something so magical and open about children’s art. All kids make art, it’s a vital part of their learning process. I have started teaching arts and crafts once a week to a group of girls during their summer vacation and I’m really enjoying it! We started with making “stuffys” which is a great way for beginners learn to sew.

This week I want to teach weaving and have been looking for simple weaving craft ideas. Here is a beautiful kid friendly project a cant wait to try!

  1. Rose-
I saw the spinning wheel on etsy that you were thinking about, and I really think that you should get it. It looks like it’s in really great condition so I don’t think the fact that it’s discontinued should hinder you- those parts are going to last. I think after shipping it’s about $345, and that is a crazy good deal for a like-new wheel! (Ha! I rhymed!)

    So, no pressure….but DO IT!!!

    Love ya,
    Rosie R.

  2. Rose,

I am fascinated and encouraged by the way you live your life! It is absolutely amazing.

I am a nanny, and I do crafts with my girl. I was wondering what different things you use to make your “stuffies”
